# About Tricity Local News

Tricity Local News is a statistics and news publication covering artificial intelligence, cloud computing, data, web hosting and enterprise IT. Each page gives the reader a figure, the organization that produced it and the date it was measured, in that order.

## What the site publishes

Statistics pages come first. Each one collects the current figures on a single subject, such as cloud spending, data center capacity or AI adoption in companies, and traces every number to a named source with a date. Nothing is estimated. News follows the same rule: the first sentence carries the fact, and the source appears in the sentence that states it.

Coverage sits in five sections: AI, Cloud, Data, Hosting and Enterprise IT. Readers who want the number behind a decision, a report or a classroom question are the audience: IT buyers, founders, analysts, students and journalists checking a figure.

## How a page is produced

One writer owns each section and a second editor reviews every page before it publishes. The reviewer checks each figure against the captured source, confirms the date and the scope of what was counted, and signs off by name. Both names appear on the page. The [Fact-Check Policy](/fact-check-policy/) and the [Statistics Research Methodology](/stats-methodology/) describe the process in full.

A vendor’s figure is the vendor’s claim, and the page says so. A forecast is a forecast, credited to the firm that made it, with its horizon stated. Paid market-research summaries are never the source of a statistic.

## Who runs it

Brad Nickel founded the publication and writes the Cloud and Hosting sections. Aaron Weiss covers AI and Data. Alice Meckler edits the Enterprise IT section and reviews the Cloud, Data and Hosting pages. Their backgrounds are on the [Team](/team/) page.

## Reaching the newsroom

Corrections, data requests and questions about a figure go to <media@tricitylocalnews.com>. The [Corrections Policy](/corrections-policy/) explains what happens next and how fast.
